Orlando, FL (September 6th, 2024) — On September 23rd, 2024, The 5th Floor will proudly welcome Divergent U, a groundbreaking academy that will be launching its first full-scale program. Divergent U is the latest addition to The 5th Floor’s dynamic community, embodying the belief that anything is possible.
For the past five years, Divergent U has been running beta tests to develop a college alternative for students with big ideas. With top performers starting from $0 and scaling to over $1.5 million in annual revenue through mission-oriented small businesses. Many students under the age of 25 grossed seven figures in revenue, and more than 25% of graduates achieved at least $100,000 per year in revenue from businesses built around their unique skills, ideas, and passions. 98% of students recommended the program, and 60% achieved consistent monthly revenue—all of this accomplished during the beta phase prior to launching the full program.
Divergent U will now fully realize its original mission: to launch a gap year program that enables students to cultivate their future visions and formulate strategic plans.
