New Children’s Entrepreneur Market to Join Avalon Park Orlando Fall Events
Orlando, FL (August 08, 2024) – Avalon Park Orlando, in collaboration with the 5th Floor Orlando, is thrilled to announce a partnership with the Children’s Entrepreneur Market (CEM). This new market will be featured at two upcoming Avalon Park events: Oktoberfest (12th) and Avalon Aglow (December 7th).
This innovative nonprofit initiative, established in 2017 in Utah, is dedicated to empowering children through entrepreneurial experiences. Over the past six years, CEM has provided invaluable opportunities to thousands of young minds, and by 2024, it aims to operate in 25 states, offering more than 25,000 children the chance to explore the world of business.
The market staff specializes in identifying and securing venues that attract diverse communities, fostering hundreds of authentic interactions. Through this family-centered project, children not only learn the basics of running a small business but also gain essential life skills—all while having fun.
“We believe the Children’s Entrepreneur Market can positively influence a lot of young lives,” said Lynée Fife, Director of the program. “The principles of innovation, leadership, and hard work are lessons that will stay with them throughout their lives.”
Children are offered additional support including a video course on how to set-up their business, scholarships for growth and a blog series to share lessons and experiences from kids, for kids.
